Long line transmission model is suitable. This is because distance from Enugu to Niger is about 470Km or more, and according to what we've been taught, long line transmission is within the range of 240km and above.

  2. Long line model is wat we can use to model the transmission line from kainji(Niger) to new heaven sub station in Enugu. This is because the distance is roughly 475km and the transmission line is 330kv;An overhead transmission line has a distance above 250 km and line voltage above 100kv.OTUNNI 11

  5. The distance between Kainji hydro power sub-station in Niger state and New-heaven sub-station in Enugu state is estimated to be 475km, so therefore Long line Transmission model is employed.

    1. Of course its a long line. But your answer is yet to be justified.

  6. A long transmission line is defined as a transmission line with an effective length more than 250 km (150 miles)
And the approximated distance between Kainji hydro power sub-station in Niger state and New-heaven sub-station in Enugu state is about 475km with a transmission line of 330kV.
Therefore, a long line model is more suitable for the modelling of the transmission line.

    1. Long transmission line modelling will be suitable, since the distance between kainji power substation in Naija state and New heaven power substation Enugu state is more 150km and the voltage is more a 100kv which is the standard for a long transmission model to be used, it is there by justified using a long transmission line model

  9. Long line transmission model may be the best suitable. This is because distance from Niger to enugu is about 472 Km or more, and according to what we've been told in class, long line transmission is within the range of 240km and above.

  10. The distance between Niger and Enugu is approximately 455.5km which is greater than 150km and the voltage to be transmitted is High 330kv greater than 100kv been the standard rating long transmission. Therefore, Long transmission line modelling will suitable for the purpose.

  11. Long Transmission line modelling is the best option since, the distance from Niger to Enugu is 455.5km and the voltage to be transmitted is 330km. Whereas the standard rating for long transmission is >240km and >100kv

  12. Long transmission line modelling is required because its 330kv line to line voltage and the estimated distance between Niger state and Enugu is over 450km,every long transmission line must have a distance above 250km

  13. Long line transmission model will be suitable because of the distance between Niger and Enugu is 455.5km which is much more greater than 150km and the voltage to be transmitted is high "330kv" greater than "100kv" been the standard rating long transmission.
